Do you know that feeling? I’ve felt it so many times in my life. Whether it’s the end of a relationship, the death of a loved one, the sudden estrangement of a child…we’ve all faced circumstances that make us wonder if we will ever be okay again.

These cruxes in our timelines mold us, shape us, define us. They change us and we know there will forever be a before-and-after version of ourselves.

But we will survive.

And that’s where the song goes into a very simplistic reminder in the chorus:
