Media Monday: Good Book Bad

Deep down in your heart, who are you?

That’s the question that caught me in Will Moseley’s Good Book Bad. My actions haven’t always been indicative of the person I was in my heart.

🎶 Sometimes you gotta take a step back, look at you and ask…Who you are down in your heart, you ain’t that far off track…

I found comfort in those lyrics. I think sometimes the devil wants us to see ourselves worse than we are, to believe there’s no hope.

But this song not only uplifts, it points you in the right direction. The best direction…

🎶 It ain’t that hard to get back
You just need the good book bad

I find strength in reading the Bible. It’s where God speaks to us the most. You can know a passage your entire life and one day it just comes alive. That’s why it’s called the Living Word.

Life in the fast lane is fun… ‘til it’s not.

Slow down, take a deep look within, and know that the way back is through the Good Book.

Good Book Bad (Will Moseley, 2024)

All your runnin’ around’s gotta slow down a little

You’re livin’ just a little too fast

You gotta meet the Man somewhere in the middle

Sometimes you gotta take a step back, look at you and ask

Who you are down in your heart, you ain’t that far off track

It ain’t that hard to get back

You just need the good book bad
