When we look at the story of Noah, we see miraculous trust in God — building a boat without even a hint of rain. What a powerful picture of faithfulness to the God he worshipped.
But we have the same opportunity in our own lives. We can’t see the future. We can’t always fathom what God is doing. Yet we can still take a step in faith. We can keep moving toward a future we can’t clearly see. We can choose to trust, even when all we see is the storm.
We can build a boat.
This Week’s Focus:
Take one tangible step of faith this week — even if it feels small or unseen. Trust God enough to begin, and let Him provide the rain.
“By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.”
— Hebrews 11:7
Build a Boat (Colton Dixon, 2022)
Every word You say is gonna come true
You will lead me to the promised land
Everything You say is gonna happen
Even though I haven’t seen it yet
I will build a boat in the sand where they say it never rains
I will stand up in faith, I’ll do anything it takes
With Your wind in my sails, Your love never fails or fades
I’ll build a boat in the desert place
