Ø Peace Be Still (Hope Darst): a prayer for peace- Philippians 4:6-7, Psalm 4:8, Psalm 29:11, Romans 15:13, Matthew 11:28 (I’ve spent a few mind-racing, sleepless nights playing this on repeat as a grown-up lullaby)

Ø Wonderfully Made (Matthew West): a prayer to reaffirm identity in Christ- Psalm 139:14 (I encourage people to make this part of your morning routine and listen to it while brushing your teeth to start your day.)

Ø Who You Are (Unspoken): a prayer to combat regret- 1 John 1:9, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Acts 3:19, Hosea 6:1, 2 Corinthians 7:10, Romans 12:1-2, Galatians 2:20

Ø Faithfully (TobyMac): a prayer to overcome depression, navigate grief, grow your faith- 1 Corinthians 1:9, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, Lamentations 3:22-23

Ø Scatter (Anne Wilson): a prayer to stand firm while God removes the “walls of Jericho” in your life- Joshua 6:2, 2 Corinthians 6:13-14, Jeremiah 29:11

Ø Forgiveness (Matthew West): a prayer of forgiveness- Colossians 3:13, Ephesians 4:32, Mark 11:25, Matthew 18:21-25, Luke 6:37, Matthew 6:14 (I’ve made myself listen to this often when I didn’t want to forgive.)

My “daily” playlist has a couple dozen more songs but this is a great sampling of them all. I firmly believe that music can either heal or harm your soul.
