Message from the Lord

(Given to me on 9/17/23)

Malachi 4:5-6 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Elijah called the people to repentance in the Old Testament and the spirit of Elijah is calling and crying out now.

CALL TO THE NATION

Wake up! The time to sleep is no more. The time to merely exist is over. We’re moving into a new season. You already know this. You see it. You feel it.

We’re being squeezed like never before. And the devil is watching us point fingers during elections and at family gatherings and laughing his head off. If you’re going to be a puppet, you might as well work for the company with better benefits.

You still blaming your mama? Your dad? Your spouse? Your kid? Your boss? The list could go on and on. WHOEVER that adversary in your life is, that’s not who’s out to destroy you. Satan is.

And not just the whole “God vs Satan” thing. The devil wants to destroy YOU. Not second-person you. YOU. Every last one of you.

STOP FIGHTING PEOPLE AND SEE WHO THE REAL ENEMY IS!

CALL TO THE MEN AND WOMEN OF AMERICA

Women, I see you. You’re harried and tired and trying to be so many things for so many people and you keep that smile on your face, but you wonder every day if it’s enough. IT IS! You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Men, I see you too. You’re working; you’re tired as well and you’re having to deal with overly emotional women. You’re trying to be a spiritual covering for your family but some days you feel so riddled with bullet holes that you’re not sure you even offer much protection anymore. Stand strong. Watch. Stand fast.

Caregivers, I see you. I see the pain and anger and frustration and fear. I know the battles with family members and well-meaning friends. I know the isolation when you’re suffering alone.

Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.

Remember, it’s always darkest in the valley. But it’s also where you grow.

You older generations grew up in a world where it was black and white with a thin sliver of gray in the middle. Kids today grow up in the gray with a thin sliver of black and white on each side. They try to stay in the middle.

It’s your job to nurture and care for the generations who battled for you when you were in your youth. It’s your job to battle for your spouse. It’s your job to fight for ALL children.

It is up to you to bridge generational gaps.

But first you must get your own house in order.

Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. Isaiah 38:1

You cannot help anyone else unless you put your own oxygen mask on first.

Warriors of God, if you’re already in place stand up! Breaktime is over.

A CRY TO THE CHILDREN

It’s a scary and confusing world sometimes. Always remember that even when all you see is darkness, there is still light.

When you can’t find light, BE the light.

You are the light of the world….let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14, 16
